Avengers Academy

Been a while, huh? Sorry about that, but less digital work means less random sketches. Plus for the first time in a while I've been in a good groove, and most of my work gets finished before the pencils get scanned.

Okay, so I'm looking forward to the upcoming Age of Heroes. This is from the re-envisioning of Avengers: The Initiative with Avengers Academy. I really only wanted to draw the big dude Fortress, but then added Hazmat, then Veil, and then Raptor in the corner looking way too happy.

So here you go. Four members of the Future Avengers of America Club.

Strange Bird and 2 Berries

Something I drew when I was still employed. Sitting during a meeting, I started with some random lines and by the end of the hour, this was what I had. Overall, I like the look and design, it's just very... empty. So it goes here since I do want people to see it nonetheless.

I was walking in hopes of finding milk after leaving a hospital. No such luck on the milk. I missed 2 buses doing so. But, while walking, I found this card of a brown octagon. Looks like one of those flashcards for kids.

Instantly, I thought on an asshole. What does that say about me? Well, I started sketching the orifice out with a pen I had. I came home and forgot all about it... let's say a week ago.

Drew it out, laughed, and said when I scan it I'd post it. So here it is.

Pen on found paper. Betchya the company that made these cards never had this in mind.

Umm... 2 hours on and off? Maybe? Put this here and on DA. Like it more for concept rather than the art. Everyone should see it.

Corel Painter Essentials 4.

My free 6 month trial to the program stated in the title has expired. Very disappointing. While it wasn't anywhere near as good as CPE 2, it was good for my tablet work (as well as allowed me to digitally ink).

Now I have to find a comporable (or better program), buy this, or find another way...

This sucks, because as much as I like my subsequent program ArtRage, it doesn't allow me to work fast, which is where I'm most comfortable.
